Porsche (Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG) on vuonna 1931 perustettu saksalainen urheiluautoja valmistava yhtiö. Sen perusti Ferdinand Porsche, joka oli Volkswagen Kuplan ensimmäisen version suunnitellut insinööri.

Yleistä

Porsche on vuosia tarjonnut konsultointipalveluita muille autovalmistajille. Niitä ovat käyttäneet Studebaker, SEAT, Daewoo ja Subaru.

Perinteisesti vain urheiluautoja valmistanut merkki laajensi vuodelle 2003 mallistoaan katumaasturi Cayennella, joka nousi heti merkin suosituimmaksi malliksi huolimatta arvostelua herättäneestä ulkonäöstään. Porschen päämaja ja päätehdas sijaitsevat edelleen Stuttgartin Zuffenhausenissa, mutta Cayenne- ja Carrera GT -malleja varten on uusi tehdas Leipzigissä. Valmet Automotive Oy Uudessakaupungissa valmistaa suurimman osan Porschen edullisimmasta Boxster-mallista ja aloitti uuden Cayman-mallin valmistuksen syyskuussa 2005.
